Columbus OH

Last August I went to Ohio to visit my mom's side of the family. It was my first time traveling alone but I had a nice time visiting different parts of the city, hanging out with them and getting to know their friends as well. Definite highlights were the Columbus Zoo/Aquarium and Matsuri-con  

I made this painting during my last week there for my aunt's nail salon. I think it's actually the largest I've done so far. My photos of the cityscape were too dark because they showed my around at night so I ended referenced some photos on google (I'll link my main one at the bottom). I also looked at a lot of modern cityscape paintings to give me some ideas on the style, colors, and how I can simplify some details because I was only there for 2 weeks.
